Balakrishnan Kavikkal (Bala) founded Servion along with four other partners in 1995 to provide strategic consulting, Systems Integration, and professional services and to build multimedia products for the Contact Center industry. Bala brings with him 18 years of experience in the telecom and IT industries.
His strengths in marketing helped him set up full-fledged major account and channel management programs for Motorola as the Head of Sales.
Prior to his current position as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Servion, Bala was President of the North American operations. He was instrumental in setting up the Sales and Delivery infrastructure in the US leading to aggressive sales growth even as the US economy underwent a downturn. Under his leadership, the US operation has grown 100% every year.
Bala's ability to build global sales networks has helped setting up operations and partners for Servion across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the USA. Bala has been the driving force in leading Servion's sales and marketing efforts worldwide in the IVR, CTI, and Call Center domains, making available best-of-class solutions since 1996.
Widely traveled, he has been associated with the conceptualization and design of numerous global Contact Centers. Bala holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from REC, Surathkal, India.

Shankaran Nair was the youngest Area Sales Manager (Tamil Nadu) in Goodlass Nerolac Paints Limited, where he was responsible for the third largest revenue-generating branch for the organization. He joined Gum India Limited in 1985 where he played an entrepreneurial role. This was a start-up company that achieved market leadership status very rapidly. Shankaran played multiple roles – headed sales and marketing for the organization and eventually functioned as Executive Director with responsibility for top and bottom line. He managed business and marketing under extremely turbulent conditions.
In 1999, Shankaran moved to eShakti. This is an online store, a start-up that services Non Resident Indians in the United States. He played a significant role in setting up the US operations for the organization. Shankaran played multiple roles again – supply chain management, managing alliances, setting up a distribution channel, and customer support. He also set up eShakti's customer support division, which gave the company the cutting edge to win over its competition. The group today includes India Plaza.com and Sulekha.com.
Shankaran Nair joined Servion Global Solutions in 2003. He has been instrumental in setting up the Business Development practice at Servion for the Asia Pacific region.
Shankaran Nair brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial capability and professional management training and skills. He has played a key role in the re-organization and restructuring of the approach to business planning at Servion. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Loyola College, Chennai and a master's in management (marketing) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, India.

Rajesh holds an engineering degree from BITS, Pilani and brings over 15 years of experience that has a blend of Sales, Marketing and Consulting in matured and evolving markets. Rajesh was one of the early starters and joined Servion in Feb 1997 and has led Servion’s growth in Asia Pacific, Middle East and India. Over the years, Rajesh has grown into a line manager with hands on approach and a record of success in developing business growth. He has achieved this through effective team, direct sales and channel management which is further enhanced by excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills. Amongst others, his core expertise lies in building teams that can apply business value to any technology and position a compelling value proposition for Global clients.
Rajesh was in charge of the APAC & EMEA regions, before turning his focus completely to further develop the APAC region.He has built up the Asia Pacific Operations of Servion into a robust and high growth engine and developed profitable client relationships across the region with Blue Chip accounts like Citigroup, DBS Bank, May Bank, Hutchinson, OCBC Bank, UOB, Comfort Delgro, AIA etc. He achieved this by executing clearly defined strategies & building collaborative working relationship with technology partners like Cisco, Avaya, Witness, Nuance, and strategic partners like IBM, HP, Fujitsu, Iflex etc.
Rajesh has travelled extensively and is a regular speaker in Contact Center conferences and seminars. Rajesh is based in Singapore, is an avid golfer and a regular long distance runner.

David has over 16 years of experience in selling Contact Center solutions primarily focused around IVR, CTI and Speech Recognition. He is an experienced sales executive who is focused on driving profitable revenue growth and increased market share for Servion in North America. David brings a hands-on, action – oriented sales approach to Servion. He has a keen ability to build and lead effective and motivated sales teams that produce consistent revenue growth. While Vice President of Sales at Envox, David was instrumental in taking the company to profitability after having sustained large losses in previous years. This turnaround was a key contributor to the successful sale of the company in 2009 to Syntellect.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Bridgewater State College.
