Servion Global Solutions, a specialist in the Customer Interaction Management
(CIM) space, today announced the launch of scalable CIM solutions for the
retail segment. Servion's CIM offerings for the retail space include
Interactive Voice Response and Speech, Computer Telephony Integration,
Outbound Interaction Management (Telemarketing), Multi-media Notification,
Quality Monitoring and Work Force Optimisation solutions, a company release

This suite of solutions will enable retailers to provide a differentiated
interaction experience to the end consumer, resulting in customer retention
and increased revenue. Technology adoption coupled with rapid economic growth
and changing customer expectations had placed the Indian CIM industry on a
high growth trajectory at 34 per cent year by year. The global CIM
applications market was expected to reach US dollar 2.6 billion by 2008, more
than doubling the approximately US dollar 1.2 billion applications market
today, the release said, adding India was the ninth largest retail market in
the world and the launch of these CIM solutions in the country was in line
with the boom in the Indian retail sector.
